Partner medical clinics

Partner medical clinics

The medical clinics are facilitated NHWC, one our on the ground partner organisations.

We work together to ensure that the patients not only receive full outpatient medical treatment; they also have access to routine immunizations, HIV counselling and testing, tuberculosis counselling and screening and nutritional counselling and supplements. They also have access to both short and long-term family planning services, full antenatal services for expectant mothers, and disability evaluation, diagnosis and referral services.
Based on the turnout of beneficiaries alone, it is clear that the opportunity to access and utilize high quality healthcare is needed and deeply appreciated.
We take every opportunity to also educate the people attending these clinics by offering community health training on sanitation, hygiene, gender based violence, prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV, disease prevention and more.
The hand in hand approach to education and treatment encompasses our vision of improving the overall health of communities as well as educating the community about the cause and effects of HIV and AIDS; thus reducing the cost burden of healthcare on individuals and households..
Moving forward we will be working with RTRK, with the aim of hosting clinics at TBYDSC quarterly, seeing an additional 1000 beneficiaries per year.
